Provisions on the administration of food safety and nutrition and hygiene in schools:
Article 1 In order to ensure the food safety, nutrition and health of students and staff in centralized dining in schools, and strengthen supervision and management, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as the Food Safety Law), the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Implementation Regulations of the Food Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and other laws and regulations.
Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the management of food safety, nutrition and hygiene of centralized dining in schools and kindergartens (hereinafter referred to as schools) at all levels that implement academic education. The term "centralized dining" as mentioned in these Provisions refers to the act of providing food to students and faculty in the form of feeding or outsourcing food (including ordering food from feeding units).
Article 3 The principle of giving priority to prevention, monitoring the whole process, territorial management and school implementation shall be implemented in centralized dining in schools, and a working mechanism of division of responsibilities among education, food safety supervision and management, health and health departments shall be established.
Article 4 Centralized dining in schools shall adhere to the principles of public welfare and convenience, and improve the school food safety risk prevention and control system around key links such as procurement, storage, processing, distribution and meal supply, so as to ensure food safety and promote nutrition and health.
Article 5 Schools shall, in accordance with the provisions of food safety laws and regulations and the requirements of healthy China strategy, establish and improve relevant systems, implement campus food safety responsibilities, and carry out publicity and education on food safety and nutrition health.
