What happened to national education?
For example, during the Republic of China, the salary of education teachers was much higher than that of officials, and the salary of the president of Tsinghua University was also much higher than that of the president. At that time, liberal academics were advocated and different ideas were tolerated. Therefore, although we were in troubled times, there were still masters and people who influenced China's future. In addition to domestic scholars, even scientists who were sent abroad to study at that time actively returned to China to benefit the society. Looking at the current education, there is no academic freedom, quick success and instant benefit, administrative leadership in teaching, and the secretary is greater than the dean, which limits the initiative of being a man. Study hard and you will be an official. Study hard and go abroad. If you go abroad, you will betray your country. Look at Hong Kong again. Although it is a century-old colony, it is still a paradise with an open academic atmosphere. People can speak freely, academic research is respected, and school education is not suppressed by bureaucrats. At present, the so-called national education that the Hong Kong government respects the will is to educate and convert to the party's administrative leadership and make Hong Kong's education one-party, institutionalized and rigid. Look at our national education, which is called "ideology and morality" or "politics". It is full of hard ideas. Imagine that the capitalism we learned at that time was an exploitation system. The polarization between the rich and the poor makes people miserable. Once the economic crisis occurs, capitalists would rather dump their products than sell them to the poor cheaply. Let's look at the present society. Although the country is very rich, ordinary people can't afford to buy a house, go to school or drive a car. The exported products are more expensive at home, and the prices are soaring. Where is the money? What are the advantages of the system? In the hands of some vested political interests, the wealth created by the vast majority of people is in their hands. Under the strong education system, people don't know what democracy is and how to supervise those who control the wealth of the national economy and people's livelihood. They can only live in poverty, hesitation and humble satisfaction through passive education. In Hong Kong, it used to be a political refuge for the Qing government, the national government and even people. He allows people with different voices and actions to coexist. This is human nature. I don't think people who are used to freedom will want to run into their cells if they are asked to abandon the ideology of accommodating a hundred schools of thought and let future generations fall into the one-party dictatorship of fools. They are fighting for freedom, not for future generations. Inclusive and pluralistic countries are promising countries, and exclusive political parties will eventually be abandoned by history. We can wait and see!
