Sichuan University of Commerce is a secondary vocational school fully funded by the provincial finance, which was founded in 1950. Since its establishment 69 years ago, it has successively become the first batch of key vocational schools in China, a demonstration school for the reform and development of secondary vocational education in Sichuan Province, a provincial civilized unit, a demonstration school for interior management in Sichuan Province, and the first batch of provincial "modern apprenticeship" pilot units.

The school is located at No.399, Section 3, Qianshan Street, Deyang City, covering an area of 292 mu, with a school building area of 85 1 10,000 square meters, a library collection of152,400 volumes and 206 faculty members. There are 206 teaching and administrative staff in the school, including 22 masters, 48 senior lecturers, 60 lecturers and 7 1 teacher.

The school is the first batch of key vocational schools in China, and has been established as the vice-president unit of the National Supply and Marketing System Vocational Education Association, the e-commerce vocational education base of supply and marketing cooperatives, and the president unit of the Sichuan Rural E-commerce Association. On February 28th, 2020, the 65438 Sichuan Spiritual Civilization Construction Commendation Conference was commended as the "Second Sichuan Civilized Campus".
