1. According to the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), compulsory education is a right enjoyed by children. Second, the relevant basis

Article 12 of the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): School-age children and adolescents are exempted from entrance examination. Local people's governments at all levels shall ensure that school-age children and adolescents are enrolled in the nearest place where they are registered. School-age children and adolescents whose parents or other legal guardians work or live in non-registered places receive compulsory education where their parents or other legal guardians work or live, and the local people's government shall provide them with equal conditions for receiving compulsory education.
