In the college entrance examination in 2020, there were 32 students in the first volume (24 students in the first volume issued by the Municipal Education Bureau, and the completion rate of the first volume was 133.3%), 3 students scored above 600, with the highest score of 622, 373 students in the second volume and 405 undergraduate students. There are 200 undergraduates majoring in art and sports, and 70 undergraduates majoring in culture and specialty/kloc-0, with a double online rate of 85% and a total online rate of 100%. Among the 83 candidates majoring in physical education, the score of 16 is above 90, and five students' professional and cultural achievements have reached the admission lines of famous schools such as Beijing Sport University and East China Normal University.

Lincang No.2 Middle School (formerly Lincang Normal School) was founded in the spring of 1956. It is a first-class and third-class complete middle school in Yunnan Province.
