Bazhou Prefecture in the south of Qiantang River is Shangba Prefecture, Xiasanfu in the north, and Hangjiahu is Xiasanfu. The jurisdiction of Hangzhou today is different from that of ancient times. Haining, which originally belonged to Hangzhou, now belongs to Jiaxing. Xiaoshan (including Binjiang District), which originally belonged to Shaoxing Prefecture, is now under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou. Jiande, Chun 'an and Tonglu counties, which were originally Yanzhou Prefecture (now nonexistent), are also under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou. The northern part of Zhejiang is Huzhou, Jiaxing and Hangzhou, except Tonglu, Jiande and Chun 'an, the old Yanzhou government, Xiaoshan District and Binjiang District.
Northern Zhejiang is a kind of culture:
Qiantang River culture is not equal to Zhejiang culture. There are many independent water systems entering the sea in southeastern Zhejiang, such as Oujiang River in Wenzhou, Feiyun River, Aojiang River, Jiaojiang River in Taizhou, Yongjiang River in Ningbo and Caoejiang River in Shaoxing. The upper reaches of Qiantang River are also divided into Xin 'anjiang River and Fuchun River. There are different cultures.
Zhejiang has traditionally been divided into eastern Zhejiang and western Zhejiang by the Qiantang River, which has always been a scientific and reasonable division, in line with the traditional identity of Zhejiang folk areas and different regional cultural characteristics.
