Bathed in the spring breeze of reform and opening up, relying on the school's high-quality educational resources, our college has made clear its direction in the past 30 years and achieved its cause in innovation. The scale of running a school is constantly expanding, the conditions for running a school are gradually optimized, and the level of running a school is significantly improved. A continuing education system with amateur and correspondence education, junior college education, higher education self-study examination and multi-form and multi-level technical (professional) training as the main body has been formed. In 2009, there were 22 undergraduate majors and 32 specialist majors in adult academic education, and 94 majors were divided according to different teaching forms. There are 12 majors in the self-taught examination, which ranks in the forefront of the province.

It has successively won the honorary titles of "National Advanced Unit of Adult Higher Education in Colleges and Universities" by the State Education Commission, "National Advanced Collective of Self-taught Higher Education Examination" by the Ministry of Education, "Advanced Unit of Adult Education in Colleges and Universities" by the Ministry of Machinery Industry and "Advanced Collective of Self-taught Higher Education Examination" by Henan Province. In 2006, he won "excellent" in the examination and evaluation of adult education in colleges and universities in Henan Province.
