Under the guidance of the spirit of the Guiding Outline of Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools issued by the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Book for Mental Health Education Teachers was jointly compiled by relevant experts and experienced senior high school mental health teachers. Mental Health Education (a textbook for senior high school teachers) combines the theory of mental health education with the actual psychological situation of senior high school students, and strives to highlight the following characteristics:
● Science. Although this book is not a textbook for systematically imparting psychological knowledge, the psychological knowledge and methods used in each topic are selected in strict accordance with scientific principles. In order to make mental health educators more confident in theory, teachers set up theoretical articles with books to explain the most common theoretical problems involved in mental health education, so as to make a general orientation and check the operation practice of each topic. The theme of each activity is relatively independent and interrelated, and the whole set of teaching materials is an organic whole with internal relations.
● Targeted. Every theme selected in the book is designed on the basis of investigation and study of high school students and according to their psychological problems that they often encounter and need to be solved urgently.
● Activities. Each theme is designed around the teaching purpose, so that students can move from their heads to their hands and feet as much as possible, so that they can experience and feel in activities and master the knowledge and skills of psychological adjustment. To this end, teachers have made many "tricks" with books, so you might as well have a try.
● Practicality. This book is closely related to students' books, corresponding to each theme of students' books. Each theme of teachers' books is designed with five organically related parts, namely, textbook design intention, teaching objectives, textbook structure, teaching suggestions and teaching resources. Thus, the questions of "why to teach", "what to teach" and "how to teach" are answered, and practical guidance is put forward.
● flexibility. There are two elective courses for students' books. This leaves free space for teachers, who can choose courses, knowledge and teaching methods according to the actual situation of students and the practical problems to be solved.
