Xi No.42 Middle School is a school with rich cultural background. The school site was originally a special shrine of Mr. Feng Congwu, a famous Confucian educator in Guanzhong in Ming Dynasty. 1958, the school was renamed Xi 'an No.42 Middle School. This school has advanced teaching equipment. There are first-class modern physics laboratories, chemistry laboratories, biology laboratories, pronunciation classrooms, reading rooms, computer classrooms, music rooms, art rooms, science and technology rooms and multi-function halls, which create good conditions for students to broaden their horizons, develop their specialties and become talents.
