The College of Educational Sciences has six departments, 1 1 research institutes (rooms): Education Department, Curriculum and Teaching Department, Education Information Technology Department, Psychology Department, Vocational and Adult Education Research Institute, Higher Education Research Institute, Education Information Network Center and Foreign Examination Center. In addition, the department has five institutes: Institute of International and Comparative Education, Institute of Teacher Education, Institute of Educational History, Institute of Psychological Science and Institute of Modern Educational Technology. There are five undergraduate majors, among which psychology major is the national base for training basic scientific research and teaching talents.

The college has a strong faculty and scientific research strength, and has a high academic status at home and abroad. There are 45 professors (including 30 doctoral supervisors) and 69 associate professors. The college has two national key disciplines, pedagogy and psychology, and two Post-Doctoral Research Center. Pedagogy is a first-class doctoral program; Doctoral and master's degree students can be enrolled in nine majors, including pedagogy principle, curriculum and teaching theory, educational history, comparative pedagogy, higher education, educational technology, basic psychology, developmental and educational psychology, and sports human science. There are also seven majors that can recruit graduate students, including education economy and management, vocational and technical education, adult education, applied psychology, computer application technology, communication and information system, sports humanities and sociology. The college attaches great importance to academic exchanges and international cooperation, and has established long-term friendly and cooperative relations with the education colleges of some famous universities in the world.
