China has a four-year bachelor's degree and two-thirds master's degree. Is it better than British universities? This view is actually debatable. This paper will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of universities in China, Britain and the United States from the aspects of world university rankings and funding input.

World university rankings

Judging from the ranking of world universities, the top 10 universities are two in China and Britain and eight in the United States. This makes some people have the illusion that American universities are obviously superior to British universities. However, when we compare the top 100 schools in the United States with the top 20 schools in the United Kingdom, this advantage disappears.

Capital investment

Of course, the cost of American universities far exceeds that of British universities, especially the top universities. These funds are used to build new buildings, hire teachers and buy equipment. However, on the whole, American and British universities are actually quite similar (in proportion).

quality of education

Therefore, in fact, there are no more opportunities to study in the United States than in Britain, especially to enter the world's top or first-class universities. As for the quality of education in Australia, it is not as good as that in Britain and America.
