What are the characteristics of community education?
As a product of the development of social, economic and cultural education, the common feature of community education is: (1) a new educational management system for local and private education. Community education is generally carried out within the existing administrative system. It is organized and managed by the administrative departments or social organizations in the region to meet the common interests and needs in the region. (2) Community education is diversified and geared to all members of the community. Community education has a wide range of objects, from childhood to old age, engaged in different occupations and with different backgrounds. It can be a community college with a certain scale, or it can be a flexible and diverse center and activity place. (3) To meet social needs and serve the society, education has great flexibility and a strong sense of service. Community education develops and changes according to the needs of the community, and it is not as strict as formal education.
