Northeast Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Founded in 1946, formerly known as Northeastern University, it is the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * in Northeast China. 1950 was renamed northeast normal university according to the needs of national education development.

Northeast Normal University is one of the first national "2 1 1 Project" key construction universities and one of the national "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" universities. One of the 56 universities approved by the Ministry of Education to set up graduate schools; 11plan is one of the universities that plan to introduce talents through subject innovation. As of May 20 14, the school has two campuses, the headquarters and Jingyue, 23 teaching units, 7/KLOC-0 undergraduate majors, 43 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degrees, 25 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, and 20 postdoctoral research stations, covering1/KLOC-0 except military science and medicine. There are 26,627 full-time students, including undergraduates 1455 1 person, 65,438 doctoral and master students+065,438 foreign students.
