According to official website of Shandong International Studies University, the predecessor of Shandong International Studies University was Shandong International Studies University, which was formed by the merger of the Foreign Languages Department of Shandong Polytechnic University and the Foreign Languages Department of Shandong Medical University. This school is the first second-year foreign language college in Shandong Province, and it is also the earliest foreign language college in Shandong Province to carry out undergraduate foreign language education.
