Flexible academic system
The postgraduate education of the University of Toronto has a flexible academic system. Generally, the maximum number of years is set for master's and doctoral degrees, but students can graduate ahead of time according to their own conditions.
Master's degree system
Masters are generally divided into thesis masters and non-thesis masters. The former usually ranges from 3 to 6 years according to the degree setting, while the latter mostly ranges from 1-3 years.
Doctoral system
The doctoral degree is generally required to be completed within 6 years. Excellent graduate students can directly transfer to doctoral programs after completing one year's study (taking enough credits) and before doing master's thesis.
Postgraduate class
Canadian postgraduate courses last for one year. Only education, no degree. After graduation, you can get a work visa issued by the Canadian government.
Application requirements
The requirements of graduate schools in Canadian universities are that the average score of all subjects in four-year undergraduate courses must be above 75 (100%), and the requirements of famous universities are even higher, and some even require at least 80%. To apply for graduate students in Canada, you also need to provide English scores, IELTS 6.5 or above (or TOEFL 80- 100 or above). In addition, other necessary or auxiliary achievement certificates and materials are needed.
Apply for a master's degree
To apply for a master's degree in business in Canada, you need to submit excellent GMAT scores, and science and engineering need ideal GRE scores (of course, different schools have different requirements, and some schools have no special requirements). In addition, to apply for a master's degree in art and design, you need to submit your personal works.
