First, the status quo and problems of primary education and teaching
The foundation of education is basic education, which means nine-year compulsory education in China, and primary education is an important part of nine-year compulsory education. Since the 1980s, the country has paid more and more attention to primary education, and the teaching of primary education has also undergone earth-shaking reforms. For example, the teaching facilities in primary schools have been greatly improved and the school buildings have been renovated; Primary school teachers have also been valued, given certain learning opportunities, and the level of teachers has been greatly improved; The quality and quantity of teaching equipment have been improved, and the teaching style and study style have also been improved accordingly. However, due to the complexity and particularity of primary education, there are still some problems and some stubborn people who need to be changed gradually.
1.
The traditional education and teaching in China has always been based on "education as it should be". Although quality education has been emphasized in recent years, the influence of "due education" still exists, and some educators still judge students' quality with grades as the core. In the performance evaluation system of cramming exam-oriented education, students' subjective initiative and innovative creativity have been suppressed, thus forming many bookworms who can only read, but have weak other abilities, innovative abilities and comprehensive qualities, which is contrary to the requirements of innovative talents and high-quality comprehensive talents needed by the current society.
2. The quality of teachers needs to be improved.
In the process of the new curriculum reform of basic education, although the construction of primary school teachers has been greatly improved, there is still a certain distance from the requirements of the new curriculum reform. Some primary school teachers' comprehensive quality is low, and they lack the sense of educational responsibility, which does not match the educational needs of modern society, mainly reflected in the following parts: First, the traditional examination-oriented education thought is contrary to the requirements of the times. Some teachers always teach in the way of traditional exam-oriented education, and the methods are relatively backward. Some teachers use corporal punishment to educate students in order to improve their grades, which will lead to the unhealthy development of students' body and mind. Second, modern professional knowledge is not complete enough. Primary school teachers work in front-line posts all the year round. Although they have certain learning opportunities, relatively speaking, due to busy work, training opportunities are still relatively few. Primary school teachers need to improve the use of modern advanced teaching equipment, scientific and effective teaching models and guidance methods to promote the healthy psychological growth of primary school students.
3. Home-school alliance needs to be improved.
The education and teaching of primary school students is not only the responsibility of schools, but also the common responsibility of families and schools. However, most schools only pay attention to education and teaching on campus, and think that life and education outside school have nothing to do with the school, which leads to asymmetric information communication between home and school. The communication between school and family is limited to the major problems of primary school students, but there is little communication between them, which indirectly leads to the limitations and one-sidedness of school proofreading for primary school students' education and teaching, and the inability to fully and comprehensively understand students' dynamics and psychology, which makes students' dominant position in teaching unable to be truly reflected and hinders the full implementation of the new curriculum reform.
Second, the current problems in primary education and teaching solutions
1.
In view of the fact that some teachers judge students' shortcomings only by their academic achievements, educators should change this traditional concept of exam-oriented education in time. In view of the requirements of the current new curriculum reform, primary school educators should formulate an evaluation system that is more suitable for modern society, and should take the all-round cultivation of high-quality talents as an important standard to cultivate pupils with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor. In primary school, because students are young, they cannot have a complete outlook on life, values and society. At this time, as educators, we should help primary school students form basic literacy skills, basic cultural knowledge and simple social experience. Therefore, although academic performance can be used as one of the indicators, we should pay more attention to the cultivation of students' living ability, study habits and social practice, so that primary school students can adapt to the needs of modern society and truly promote the full implementation of quality education.
2. Improve the quality of teachers.
To solve the problem that some primary school educators have low comprehensive quality and lack the sense of educational responsibility, primary school front-line educators should update their existing teaching skills at any time, provide them with more training and learning opportunities, and provide advanced teaching equipment and means, so that educators can cultivate primary school students' excellent way of thinking, outlook on life, values and world outlook through modern advanced concepts and means, and at the same time get a sense of satisfaction and pleasure in learning through happy education. In some areas of Guangxi, local living standards are low, educational conditions are limited, primary school students have little contact with new social things, their ideas are relatively backward, they have no lofty ideals for the future, they lack high pursuit of life, and there are many left-behind children. Therefore, in the face of this problem, primary school educators should learn to communicate with students, and they can quickly help students with difficulties to solve their academic problems through advanced educational means and concepts.
3. The importance of home-school joint education
Primary school education and teaching is not something that schools can accomplish unilaterally. It can be said that the campus is the first battlefield and the family is the second battlefield. Only when the two battlefields support and cooperate with each other can we win. Schools should form a smooth bridge to communicate with families, change the traditional passive form and actively communicate with parents. Educators should make full use of traditional forms of communication, such as discussion and home visits, keep abreast of students' learning and life trends at home, and make specific teaching plans for primary school students in line with their individual development. At the same time, we should also give full play to the role of new media. Parents and schools form a good interactive platform by establishing online communities of QQ group and WeChat group, so as to cultivate high-quality students with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor. At the same time, educators can also make use of online positions such as friends circle and Weibo to develop educators' personal official WeChat account, and release relevant teaching information in time, so that the two battlefields of home and school can truly unite to protect students' learning.
The purpose of education is to make the educated get healthy and comprehensive physical and mental development in education, and to give full play to the power of primary education and teaching, which plays an important role in cultivating students with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor. Therefore, it is necessary to solve the problems existing in the current primary education and teaching. Primary school educators need to change the traditional concept of exam-oriented education, improve their own quality and attach importance to the role of home-school cooperation, which is the main countermeasure to solve the problems of primary school education and teaching.
