Wan Li under the Sea is one of the masterpieces of the famous French writer jules verne, and the second part of Verne's trilogy (the other two are Captain Grant's Children and Mysterious Island). This book consists of two parts and 47 chapters. Serialized in French Journal of Education and Entertainment from March 20th 1869 to June 20th 1870.

This book mainly tells the story of pierre aronnax, a biologist, traveling around the bottom of the sea with Nemo, the captain of the submarine Nautilus, his servant and Ned Lan, a whaler.
