Macao Eight Scenes refers to the new Macao Eight Scenes Council, which was established on 1992 by eight social organizations: Macao Couplets Society, Macao Photography Society, Macao History Society, Macao Chinese Poetry Society, Central Rotary Club, Macao Fine Arts Association, Macao Lions Club and Macao Education, Culture and Art Society. The selection is based on the principle of "historicity, times, observability and continuity". Results One year later, eight scenic spots in Macau were selected from 43 scenic spots in Macau.

The following are eight specific scenarios:

1, Jinghai Changhong

Including Jing Hai and Changhong. "Jinghai" is one of the ancient place names of Macao, and it also refers to the sea surface between Macao Island and Taipa Island. The two bridges, built at 1974 and 1994, set each other off, spanning Macao Peninsula and Taipa Island. This bridge has a large span, which looks like Changhong lying in the waves from a distance. At night, the bridge lights shine like a string of pearls, making the sea very bright.

2, Marco purple smoke

Marco Temple in Macao, backed by mountains and seas, has beautiful scenery, always filled with incense and purple smoke, and is a must-see place for tourists. Every "Tianhou" birthday and Lunar New Year's Eve, the incense is even worse. The smoke that permeates all the year round, such as transpiration and tranquility, gathers among temples in the mountains, reminding people of heaven and earth.

3. March 8th Monument

1835 was destroyed by the fire, leaving only the stone front wall. This wall looks like a memorial arch on the mainland. Because of the erosion of wind and rain, it is regarded as a "miracle" and a symbol of Macao.

4. Puji seeks seclusion

Fusaiji has a history of more than 300 years, and it still retains the characteristics of southern temples in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At first, it was a gathering place for people who opposed the Qing Dynasty and regained their sight, and later it was a gathering place for scholars in Guangdong Province. It is also the seat of the Wang Xia Treaty signed by China and the United States on July 3rd, 1844, which was later extended to Wang Xia Village.

5. Songtao Lighthouse

Dongwangyang Mountain is the highest mountain on the Macao Peninsula. In the Qing Dynasty, pine trees were widely planted in the mountains. A few years later, the mountains were covered with pine forests. Dongwangyangshan is called Wansongling, or Songshan for short. There is a lighthouse on Songshan Mountain, which was built in the 1960s. Tower height 13m is the first lighthouse in the history of the Far East.

6. Deer Garden Exploration Victory

The Green Garden was originally a private garden, which was built in 1904, and 1973 was acquired by the Macao government and converted into a park. Green Park is the only Jiangnan garden-style park in Macau. The pavilions, ponds, bridge pavilions, artificial waterfalls and winding paths in the park are quite in the pattern of Suzhou Lion Forest.

7. Dragon ring and Portuguese rhyme

Dragon Ring is the old name of Taipa Island. There are five Portuguese-style buildings built in 192 1, which were originally private residences of Australian and Portuguese officials and later changed to "residential museums". Many antique furniture and artworks from China and Portugal are displayed in the museum, from which we can get a glimpse of Portuguese family style.

8, black sand treading waves
