Lintao Middle School was founded in 1927, formerly known as Didao County Junior High School, and 1934 was renamed Lintao County Junior High School. 194 1 changed its name to lintao middle school in Gansu province, and opened a high school in the same year, becoming a complete middle school. 1949 merged with Lintao Women's Normal Junior High School and Private Mingde Middle School, and was later called Lintao United Middle School. 1958 was renamed as No.1 Middle School in Lintao County, Gansu Province, and was identified as a provincial key middle school, one of the first 24 key middle schools in the province. 1978 was renamed Lintao Middle School in Gansu Province.
