National education series refers to the education series included in the national education plan, and its competent department is the Ministry of Education. Among them, the higher education sequence in the national education series refers to the graduates of full-time general higher education, self-study exams, adult higher education, radio and television universities, distance education and so on. The diplomas issued are registered electronically in the Ministry of Education, and can be found on the China Higher Education Student Information Network. It is recognized by the state and society.

At present, China's national education and higher education are divided into five levels: junior college, undergraduate, second bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree.

There are three main types of higher education diplomas:

1, general higher education diploma.

2, adult higher education diploma including full-time, amateur and correspondence, distance education.

3, higher education self-study exam graduation certificate.
