After a textbook is published, there will be new developments or new contents every year, so some textbooks will be changed accordingly if necessary, even slightly. However, this change has little impact on the content, and it may not be necessary to re-apply for the application number, so it can be reproduced directly. If the changes are big and different from the original version, then the publishing procedure of the revised textbook should be rearranged. Because China's Ministry of Education will make corresponding policies on curriculum reform, there will be a big change in five years, so the textbooks we have compiled and published are the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan, the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan and so on. In this regard, textbooks should be revised at least once every five years.
The publication of the revised textbook shows that the content of the textbook has been greatly revised. Although there is a basis for the original textbook, it is already two completely different textbooks. At this time, it is inappropriate and not allowed to publish the revised textbook with the book number of the original textbook, and the published revised textbook is not recognized by the evaluation unit. That is to say, if you want to formally arrange the revised textbook, you have to go through all publishing processes such as topic selection, revision, application number, design and typesetting, printing and publishing, but the original textbook has a base and some links are operational.
