When I was in primary school, there was a special education school not far from our school, including my aunt, who was also a special educator. Therefore, I have been facing the special education crowd since I was a child, and I can deeply understand how lucky a person is to have a sound body and brain.
In my impression, compared with normal people, this group of special education audience has some defects. Even when I was a child, I found this group of people extremely terrible. When I was in primary school, every time I passed a special school, I could see students with crooked eyes and crooked mouths. They are embarrassed about their self-care ability and need more careful care from teachers and parents. Ignoring their faces, their spiritual world is extremely clean. They will feel trust in a person very easily, and their ideas will tend to be simple.
When I was in the sixth grade of primary school, a mentally retarded child transferred to our school and was assigned to a class. Because her intelligence is defective, everyone will bully her, which is incompatible with the official of ordinary students, which leads to her being bullied to some extent. However, if she was in a special education school, most of the people who received education around her met her situation, there would be no such collective exclusion. Therefore, I believe that the existence of special education schools is to let such groups have a harmonious learning environment and help them understand the world.
Some special educators know sign language, while others know Braille. This is because of the need of education, which requires such workers to learn these skills. For special educators, they should have more love and patience to care about the growth of the educated.
