What are the safety precautions for electrolyzers?
Safety measures for start-up of electrolyzer:

(1) Before electrifying, all mechanical and electrical equipment must be checked, which should be safe and reliable, the instruments used should be in good condition, the raw materials must be prepared and fully preheated with permission.

(2) The feeding alkali and cryolite must be mixed evenly, so as to avoid injury caused by splashing electrolyte during startup.

(3) When charging the furnace, the guide rod and the big bus must be ground flat, so as to avoid the guide rod scratching the big bus, and the bus is not firmly attached, resulting in anode bias current.

(4) Before the diverter is dismantled, the production personnel can't touch the diverter empty-handed. When disassembling the shunt, the operator must wear labor protection articles to avoid scalding.

(5) When adding cryolite and alkali, it must be operated smoothly to prevent scalding when stepping into the tank. Be sure to preheat before adding alkali to avoid explosion and injury to electrolyte.

(6) When salvaging carbon slag, don't let the carbon slag spoon touch the anode, so as not to hurt the flowers.

(7) When filling electrolyte, the operation should be balanced, and irrelevant personnel must stay away from the chute to avoid scalding accidents caused by electrolyte splashing. Chutes must be fully preheated before use.

(8) When pouring aluminum, the voltage must be raised in time to prevent the electrolyte from flowing out of the tank and breaking the anode soft belt bus.

(9) When raising the voltage, there should be someone who is in charge. When pushing and scraping materials, pay attention to stand firm to prevent accidents.

(10) When the field personnel find that the equipment and operating position are unsafe, they must immediately report to the field commander, and they can continue their operations only after the danger is eliminated.

(1 1) Don't be nervous if you find electrolyte leakage during baking start-up. Pour the electrolyte leakage with a water pipe until it is blocked. When using water, do not let water enter the tank to avoid explosion.

(12) When starting, if the electrolyte overflows, don't be nervous, first block it with a baffle to prevent the overflowing electrolyte from washing away the anode bus, and then block the wall with cryolite.

(13) During the start-up, in case of current deviation and guide rod fracture, the anode should be hoisted out of the accident site with the help of the crown block in time. When replacing the pole, irrelevant personnel should stay away from the scene to avoid scalding. When installing new poles, fully preheat the new poles to avoid other accidents.

Safety measures in electrolytic production of electrolytic cell;

(1) electrolytic production personnel must go through three-pole safety education before entering the workshop and are allowed to take up their posts.

(2) Pay attention to the magnetic field when using iron tools in the electrolysis workshop to prevent accidents.

(3) All iron tools in contact with electrolyte must be preheated before use.

(4) It is forbidden to sit, lie, rest and play in the workshop aisle. It is forbidden to rest and sit on the trough cover.

(5) It is forbidden to throw tools and wastes downstairs and outside the workshop. When the tool falls, it must be immediately checked whether it is connected with the electrolytic cell, bus and ground, and removed in case of emergency.

(6) When working on the electrolyzer, it is forbidden to put your feet on the electrolyte shell or anode carbon block to avoid scalding.

(7) The materials added to the tank must be dried before they can be added.

(8) When replacing the anode, Tathagata effect will immediately stop operation, and then start operation after the treatment is extinguished.

(9) making an aluminum hole. When measuring the liquid level, you should wear glasses and a mask to prevent electrolyte from splashing and scalding.

(10) Before changing poles, pole changing personnel must wear labor protection articles before entering the pole changing site.

(1 1) When replacing the iron plate, it is forbidden to place the iron plate near the column bus, so as not to cause serious accidents.

(12) The pole changing personnel command the crown block to lift the residual pole, and ensure that the spreader is hung on the guide pole when it is lifted out to prevent accidents.

(13) When hanging the anode, it is necessary to be agile and peel off the block on the residual electrode to prevent the large block from falling into the tank, which will affect the speed and quality of pole changing.

(14) When lifting the residual pole, other irrelevant personnel should stay away from the residual pole to avoid scalding accidents.

(15) When discharging the residual pole, the electrolytic personnel should correctly command the crown block, and the spreader can only be recovered after confirming that it is placed stably.

(16) Shovel workers must wear masks and other labor protection before they can work. It is forbidden to stand on the trough plate and work directly.

(17) The angler should steadily, accurately and quickly fish out the large and small shell blocks in the tank, and grasp the strength and direction when fishing to avoid burns.

(18) The vice monitor must contact the bottom of the furnace with a rake to prevent one piece from falling into the bottom of the tank, so as not to cause precipitation and cause hidden dangers to the operation of the tank in the future.

(19) Command the crane to install a new pole. If the new pole is extremely wet, the pole changer should avoid it and dry the anode before entering the tank to avoid splashing electrolyte and hurting people.

(20) Before cleaning the electrode, it must be confirmed whether the cleaned anode is stable, and the unstable anode shall not be cleaned.

(2 1) Wear adequate labor protection before cleaning poles, so as not to burn the flying hot surface shell.

(22) When cleaning the pole, don't stand on the hot surface shell block, and the opposite personnel must avoid it, so as not to burn the surface shell.

(23) When smashing blocks, be clear and even, so as to avoid accidents.

(24) The cleaned carbon ring must be tested. After cleaning, the surface shell blocks should be placed in the designated place, and they should not be scattered on the ground to block the road.

(25) During maintenance, large pieces will be smashed. Adjacent poles are bound with tripods, and it is forbidden to pile large pieces on the anode or adjacent poles.

(26) After the maintenance, clean up the site, put the iron sheet in the designated position, and do not misplace it, which will affect the site management.

(27) The pole changing tools such as hooks, rakes and drills that have just been fished out are still outside the infrared ray beside the tank, which will affect the walking of the aluminum car.

(28) After anode maintenance, check all pole changes on duty to improve maintenance quality.

Safety precautions for closing operation of electrolyzer;

(1) After the tank stop is confirmed, necessary tools for tank stop shall be prepared in time, and tools in contact with high-temperature melt shall be preheated in advance.

(2) When the electrolyte and aluminum liquid are sucked out, someone must be responsible for lowering the anode. It is forbidden to separate the anode from the electrolyte. It is forbidden to lower the anode to the end and damage the upper bus hoist.

(3) After the power failure, the insulation board must be taken out from the short intersection, blown clean with breeze to ensure the cleanliness of the short road surface, and the bolts should be tightened.

(4) After tightening the bolts, detect the temperature of the short junction, and handle it when the temperature of the short junction exceeds 100℃ to prevent the temperature from rising too fast and melting the short junction.

(5) In case of sudden tank leakage, on the one hand, send someone to lower the anode, on the other hand, notify the rectifier of power failure. It is forbidden to separate the anode from the electrolyte to prevent explosion and affect the whole series.

(6) On the one hand, find out the location of furnace leakage in time, send a crown block or manpower to stop the leakage, and at the same time block the busbar with baffles to prevent the busbar from being damaged; on the other hand, command the crown block or manpower to stop the leakage of aluminum trough. If it cannot be stopped, the aluminum liquid and electrolyte will be pumped out in time.

(7) Send the pumped aluminum liquid to casting in time.

(8) Strictly prevent aluminum liquid or electrolyte leaking into the tank from burning cables and wires in the gutter to prevent fire accidents, and prepare fire extinguishers without water.

(9) The plugging personnel must wear complete labor protection to avoid scalding accidents.

(10) After the trough operation is stopped, put away the tools used as required. Clean up the site sanitation, check all the stops and their surroundings, and make records.
