According to the xintai city Municipal People's Government's Institutional Reform Plan and the Implementation Opinions of CPC Xintai Municipal Committee and xintai city Municipal People's Government on the Institutional Reform of xintai city Municipal People's Government (Xinfa [2010] No.28) approved by the CPC Taian Municipal Committee and Taian Municipal People's Government, xintai city Education Bureau is established as the working department of the municipal government.

(a) to cancel the administrative examination and approval items that have been cancelled by the State Council, Tai 'an and our municipal government.

(two) to increase the responsibility of guiding student financial assistance.

(three) to strengthen the safety education and supervision and management responsibilities of schools and teachers and students.

(4) Strengthening the responsibility of organizing and guiding the training of teachers and principals.

Main responsibilities:

(1) Drafting educational normative documents; To formulate plans and policies for the city's education reform and development and organize their implementation.

(two) responsible for the overall coordination of the city's basic education (including preschool education), vocational education and adult education, minority education, special education, private education and the elimination of illiteracy among young people; To guide the education work of towns (streets) and relevant departments directly under the municipal government.

(three) overall planning of the city's primary and secondary schools (vocational schools, kindergartens) layout; To be responsible for examining and approving the establishment, merger and renaming of schools run by social forces in conjunction with relevant departments.

(four) to participate in the formulation of education funds, education funds and education infrastructure investment policies, and to supervise the raising and use of education funds; Participate in the reform of the city's compulsory education funding guarantee mechanism; Compile the annual budget proposal of municipal education funds, and guide the management of directly affiliated institutions, infrastructure investment and special funds.
