Xiamen Jimei Vocational and Technical School was formed in August 2004 by the integration of three public vocational schools in Jimei area. It is the "100 pilot schools for work-study programs" of the Ministry of Education.

Xiamen Jimei Vocational and Technical School has 22 classes in six categories, including electric light source technology and application, machinery manufacturing, clothing art, tourism and cooking, logistics and commerce, and information technology.

Provincial key vocational schools

In 2005, it was reconfirmed as a provincial-level key vocational school by the Provincial Department of Education, and successively won the honorary titles of Fujian Advanced Vocational Education Unit, Xiamen Civilized School and Xiamen Advanced Employment Guidance Unit.

Municipal backbone specialty

Numerical control technology is the central vocational education training base, clothing design and technology is a provincial key specialty, and mechanical manufacturing, numerical control technology application, mold design and manufacturing are municipal key majors.
