Names of various ancient study rooms:
Cloud Window, Yun Guan, Firefly Window and Snow Window? This is an alias for research. "Yunchuang" and "Yun Guan" originated from Yun Yun, a perfume used by ancient people to repel insects. "Window of Fireflies" and "Window of Snow" tell the inspirational stories of Che Yin capsule fireflies and Sun Kangyingxue. Although the alias is unique, it is only used occasionally in poetry, because the "book" in the study is the most elegant and generous.
Ancient scholars often called Zhai Hao when reading. Scientific names have a development process from their origin to their popularity. Although Sima Qian has a masterpiece Historical Records, he has never heard of his fasting. The book of humble abode is a record of fasting, but "humble abode" cannot be used as the name of the study. Officially named the study, it seems to have originated in the Northern Song Dynasty. Sima Guang, a historical legend, has a name called "Reading Hall", which is simple but too plain. Later, there was Hong Mai's Rong Zhai and Lu You's Learning for the Aged.
By the Yuan Dynasty, the practice of naming the study had influenced the ethnic minorities in the western regions. This is well recorded in Chen Yuan's "Examination of the Sinicization of Western People in Yuan Dynasty". By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, fasting was prevalent, and almost all scholars had their own elegant scientific names. Su Su Zhai in Yuan Zongdao, Meng Mo Tang in Tang Bohu, Qi Lu Zhai in Zhangpu, Xiao Cang Fang Shan in Yuan Mei, and Liao Zhai by Pu Songling? Liang Qichao's Drinking Ice Room has a far-reaching influence.
