When he was seriously ill, he went from Kyoto to Xuchang to ask for an audience and worshipped him as General Wei.
After Sima Shi's death, Wei Emperor Cao Taizu ordered Si Mazhao to guard Xuchang, and ordered Prime Minister Fu Tuo to lead six armies to return to Li. Si Mazhao led his troops back to Beijing to discuss with Fu Tuo and Zhong Hui. When he arrived in Luoyang, he was promoted to general, served as assistant minister, overseer of Chinese and foreign troops, remembered the affairs of ministers, assisted in state affairs, and took his sword to the temple, but Si Mazhao was not subject to resignation.
