The Ministry of Education recently announced the list of "national defense education model schools in primary and secondary schools" in 20 17, and a total of 6 18 schools were recognized. Eight schools in our province are on the list.

Schools in our province include: Hainan Guoxing Middle School, Qiongzhong Middle School in Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, Danzhou No.1 Middle School attached to Nankai University, Ding 'an Middle School in Ding 'an County, Sancai Junior High School in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, No.1 Primary School in Changjiang Li Autonomous County, No.1 Primary School in Wuzhishan City and No.1 Primary School in Ding 'an County.
