Chang Gan Junior High School in Wanzhou District is a rural junior high school built to popularize nine-year compulsory education. 1997. From 177 students and 16 teachers who took shelter from the rain when the school was founded, it has developed into a large rural junior high school with 858 students and 48 faculty members, teaching buildings, student dormitories, student apartments, student canteens, teacher dormitories, access ladders and other facilities. In 2002, it was rated as Wuqiao Civilization and Etiquette Demonstration School, Advanced Unit of Continuing Education in 2003, Wanzhou Civilization and Etiquette Demonstration School in 2004 and Wuqiao Standardized Management School in 2004.
