Dalian Minzu University is located in Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone on the coast of the Yellow Sea. It is an ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. It is the only national institution of higher learning in the northeast and coastal open areas, and it is also the only national institution of higher learning focusing on engineering and applied disciplines. The school was founded in 1984, which was jointly founded by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Liaoning Provincial Government and Dalian Municipal Government.
The school covers an area of 720,000 square meters with a total construction area of 400,000 square meters. There are 9 secondary colleges, including School of Economics and Management, School of Electromechanical Information Engineering, School of Life Sciences, School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, School of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Design, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and School of Grammar and Science, with 40 undergraduate majors, covering six disciplines: engineering, economics, management, literature, science and law. The school recruits students from all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. At present, there are 12 15 students (including 7 students from the school of design) and more than 860 faculty members, of whom 85% have master's degrees or above, more than 28% have doctoral degrees and 50% have senior professional and technical positions. There are 54 teachers in the School of Design, many of whom have overseas study experience, are enthusiastic about design education and have strong design ability, and have undertaken the main design work of key projects with a cost of more than 10 million yuan, such as Qingdao polar museum, Dalian "Discovery Kingdom" theme park, Tiger Beach polar museum and Forest Zoo.
The School of Design has three majors: art design, animation and industrial design (enrollment will not be accepted for the time being in 2009). It has advanced teaching ideas, follows the people-oriented educational purpose, takes personality shaping and professional education as the carrier, and finally realizes the purpose of personality shaping. The college implements the tutorial system training mode, and the first grade stage is public platform education, and students of all majors receive unified training in basic knowledge and skills of design. Starting from the third semester, the major of art design enters the professional studios for study through two-way selection according to the characteristics of students' learning situation, quality, personality, inclination and hobbies. This major provides four directions: product design, graphic design, landscape design and indoor space design 10 studio. In 2009, our school enrolled 260 students majoring in art, including 100 students majoring in art design and 160 students majoring in animation. Seven, professional examination registration conditions
1. Candidates who meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and have the conditions to take the national college entrance examination can apply.
2. Candidates who register must obtain the fine arts unified examination certificate organized by the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) where the candidates are located. (Except that the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government have not organized a unified examination for art)
Eight, professional examination registration method
1. Candidates who apply for our school must hold their ID card and its copy, and the certificate of passing the art test issued by their province, and fill in the registration card of our school's professional examination carefully. Fill in the name must be consistent with the candidate's household registration book, ID card, and the name on the college entrance examination registration form. The mailing address and contact person must be filled in accurately and neatly.
2. When registering, you need to submit two one-inch recent bareheaded half-length photos with the same front.
3. Additional test fee: 150 yuan/person (according to relevant documents of Liaoning Provincial Price Bureau).
4. In face-to-face interview, candidates must register at the registration point on time (see Annex 1 for registration place and time).
Candidates are only allowed to choose one test center to take the test.
Candidates from Hebei Province can only sign up for the examination of our school at the test center of Shijiazhuang Vocational and Technical College, and only candidates from Hebei Province are accepted at the test center. Candidates from Jiangsu Province can only register for the exam at the Admissions Office of Nantong University. Zhengzhou 106 middle school test center only accepts candidates from Henan province to take the exam.
6. According to the requirements of the Liaoning Provincial Admissions Office, candidates in Liaoning Province only need to take the art professional examination organized by the province, and our school will no longer organize the examination separately.
7. Candidates must be qualified when registering. After passing the exam, you will receive an admission ticket for art majors.

1. Certificate issuance ratio: According to the requirements of the document of the Ministry of Education (No.[2008] 14), the examination certificates for art majors are issued at the ratio of 1:4.
2. According to the examination results of specialized courses, the school will issue the Certificate of Art Specialty Examination to qualified candidates on April 1 2009, and inform the examination results. Unqualified persons will not be notified separately. Candidates hold the "Certificate of Examination for Art Majors" of our school, go through the political, ideological and moral assessment and physical examination procedures at the Admissions Office of the university where the household registration is located, and take part in the national entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities.
3. Candidates who have received our certificate should log on to the homepage of Dalian University for Nationalities () and the website of the local college entrance examination admissions department in time to inquire about qualified information.

3. Admission principles:
① Candidates are admitted from high to low according to their comprehensive scores, with comprehensive scores = professional course scores * 40%+ national college entrance examination culture course scores * 60%.
② When calculating comprehensive scores, the scores of professional courses of candidates in Liaoning Province are calculated according to the scores of professional examinations organized by Liaoning Province, and the scores of professional courses of candidates in other provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) are calculated according to the scores of professional examinations organized by Dalian University for Nationalities.
4. Candidates who meet one of the following conditions and apply for our school for the first time can be admitted without exception:
(1) The score of the national college entrance examination exceeds the control line of the second batch of undergraduate admission in this province (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) by more than 20 points, and has obtained the certificate of the unified examination for art majors in Dalian University for Nationalities or the certificate of the unified examination for majors in Liaoning Province.

6. Those who lack any subject in cultural examination and professional examination will not be admitted.

Twelve. Review method
In order to ensure the quality of freshmen, our school conducts spot checks on those who have passed the professional examinations, and conducts a comprehensive inspection within three months after the freshmen enter school.
