What is a dual college?
Dual-system college is a unique policy of obtaining full-time college diploma on the job in Fujian Province. It adopts the form of part-time work and part-time reading, mainly online learning. After graduation, it is a full-time college diploma, which makes no difference. Dual-system college graduates can be promoted to undergraduate courses, or they can be promoted to undergraduate courses through amateur education.

Binary refers to two main elements, and the official gives seven meanings:

1. The dual subject of enterprises and schools,

2. The dual identity of apprentice and student,

3. Mentoring,

4. Dual management of enterprises and schools,

5. The binary evaluation of enterprises and schools,

6. Binary certificate of diploma and vocational qualification certificate,

7. Full-time and part-time dual academic system.

The characteristics of the binary system:

1. The academic system is three years, students are exempted from the adult college entrance examination, and the school conducts entrance examinations, with a high admission rate;

2. Students don't have to go to school, and teachers teach in enterprises;

3. The school employs enterprise teachers as "dual system" teachers to teach;

4. Get a full-time college diploma issued by the state after passing the examination.

College (higher vocational education) aims at training vocational skilled vocational talents, that is, the goal of college is to combine theory with practice, and train a group of professionals with theoretical knowledge on the basis of completing secondary vocational education.

College education is a professional education with shorter time than ordinary undergraduate education on the basis of complete secondary vocational education. Like undergraduate education and postgraduate education, it is an integral part of China's higher education system.
