In which year did China's Ministry of Education incorporate "field survival" training into the pilot curriculum of colleges and universities?
-? In 2002, China's Ministry of Education included "field survival" training in the trial courses of seven universities, which means that first aid knowledge and skills will be included in the formal courses of higher education and all-round quality education in China.

Field survival training is a newly developed college physical education course, which has been incorporated into the college physical education curriculum system in China. Compared with other physical education courses, field survival training is quite different in course objectives, course design, teaching mode, teaching facilities and equipment, evaluation content and standards. At present, there is no systematic, complete, scientific and standardized outline and teaching material for the field survival and life training course in colleges and universities, and it is still in the experimental research stage. Agricultural and forestry colleges attach importance to practical teaching, and field practice is a major feature of agricultural and forestry colleges. The students trained in this major, whether in teaching practice or after graduation, often involve remote field environment and need to have certain knowledge and ability of field survival and life. The investigation shows that there is no teaching of field survival ability in the specialized courses of agricultural and forestry colleges, and students have not received systematic field survival training at present, which leads to insufficient field survival ability of students. Therefore, it is particularly necessary to construct a course system of field survival and life that meets the actual situation of agricultural and forestry colleges and the needs of students' learning and development.
