Main responsibilities:

The District Education Bureau implements the principles, policies and decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee and the Municipal Party Committee on education, and adheres to and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party on education in the process of performing its duties according to the requirements of the District Committee. (3) Coordinate school settings. In conjunction with relevant departments, formulate various education enrollment plans and organize their implementation. Organize education entrance examination. To be responsible for the guidance and service of employment and entrepreneurship of graduates from secondary specialized schools before leaving school.

(four) responsible for the management of teachers in the region. Organize the implementation of the teacher qualification system, promote the reform of the school personnel system, and strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and style. Guide the construction of all kinds of school teachers and educational administrative cadres. In accordance with the cadre management authority, responsible for inspection, appointment and removal of relevant cadres.

(five) the overall management of the district education fund. Supervise and manage the capital operation of the education system. Overall planning, implementation and management of educational technology and equipment in schools. To guide and supervise the audit of the education system. Responsible for planning, coordinating and guiding the school layout of the whole region. Responsible for the planning, project establishment, tracking and coordination of public school construction projects in the whole region, and organize the implementation of school building safety projects in the district.

(six) to guide the moral education, legal education, national defense education, sports health and art education and the construction of moral education team (class teacher team) in various schools. Cooperate with promoting Putonghua and standardizing the use of Chinese characters.

(seven) responsible for educational research and achievements promotion, in-service teachers and school (park) long training, promoting the professional development of teachers, education information construction. Manage student financial aid, guide and coordinate work-study programs. To guide and manage the education and teaching exchanges and cooperation between the education system in the region and the education system outside the region.
