Wangjiang No.2 Middle School, referred to as Wangjiang No.2 Middle School for short, was founded in 1958 and was designated as a key high school in Anqing in 1980. In February 2004, it was named "Anhui Demonstration High School" by the Provincial Education Department, and in February 2007, it was named "Anhui Green School" by the Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau and the Provincial Education Department. The campus covers an area of 1 18 mu, and the school building area is 72,000 square meters. At present, there are more than 2,400 students and 220 faculty members, including more than 40 graduate students, 39 municipal backbone teachers and 0/2 municipal academic leaders.

The school is located in Wangjiang County, Anhui Province, the hometown of three filial piety. At present, it is the "Youth Aviation Navigation Model Training Base" in Anhui Province, "Advanced Unit of Air Force Recruitment", "Excellent Student Source Base" in Xi 'an Jiaotong University and "Best Student Source Base" in Nanjing University.
