1. 1 Life science will become the leading discipline of contemporary science. Life science, which is dominated by molecular biology, biotechnology and biomedical engineering, will drive the development of various fields of medicine. The aging population, environmental pollution, ecological balance destruction and other factors make malignant tumors, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and other diseases become the main diseases threatening human beings, which will make great changes in the spectrum of human diseases. The occurrence and development of these diseases are closely related to human behavior and living habits, physiology, psychology and natural environment factors. Therefore, nursing education must adapt to the development of "people's health as the center", develop in an all-round and diversified way, and carry out holistic nursing and health education at psychological, social, cultural and spiritual levels.

1.2 The social function of nursing is becoming more and more significant. With the increase of the elderly population, the decrease of family population, the increase of patients with chronic diseases, the increase of health guidance needs of vulnerable groups such as women and children, the increase of medical expenses, the decline of ability to pay and the shortage of health resources, nursing will go out of the hospital and enter the community, becoming a health center with community as the scope, family as the unit and nursing procedures as the working method. Guided by the health care needs of the population, we provide a continuous, comprehensive and personalized community ordinary care integrating prevention, health care, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and health education in order to maintain the overall health of individuals, families and communities.

1.3 "Health care for all" is still the goal of global health work in the future, and health education as a strategic measure of health care has been recognized all over the world. Everyone has the right to receive education. Health education is a process that enables individuals and groups to master health knowledge, establish health concepts, voluntarily adopt healthy lifestyles and behaviors, enhance self-care ability, and strengthen knowledge infusion and skill training for prevention, treatment, care and rehabilitation of various diseases through information dissemination and behavioral intervention. China will face a series of new health problems, and the role of nurses will be further expanded, which requires that nursing education must keep up with the development of social needs.
