Yibin City Profile: Yibin, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, a national historical and cultural city and a national forest city. The developed brewing industry represented by Wuliangye has made Yibin a veritable "wine capital of China". Yibin is one of the earliest developed and oldest cities in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It was called "Doctor", "Rongzhou" and "Xuzhou" in ancient times, and was known as "the half of Gu Rong in Southwest China".
Yibin is located in the south of Sichuan Province, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, zero kilometers away from the Yangtze River, and is the "first city in the Yangtze River". It has jurisdiction over three districts and seven counties (Cuiping District, nanxi district, Xuzhou District, Jiang 'an County, Changning County, Gaoxian County, Gongxian County, Junlian County, Xingwen County and Pingshan County).
