8. Sixian No.1 Middle School in Anhui Province

Anhui Sixian No.1 Middle School was founded in 1906, formerly known as Sizhou Rixin Middle School. Although the school scale is small, it marks that there has been a second-class institution of higher learning in Sizhou area since then. 1908 (thirty-four years of Guangxu in Qing dynasty), the number of classes and students increased to 72 in two classes. After the first students graduated, the school dropped out because of the Revolution of 1911.
