The structure of the educational legal system From the perspective of the vertical composition of the educational legal system, due to the different legislative authority and procedures of the educational legal system, the application scope and effectiveness of the educational legal system are also different.

At present, under the guidance of the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, which is the basic law of education, the structure of China's education legal system consists of six departmental laws, namely, the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Vocational Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Private Education Promotion Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Academic Degrees Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Teachers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

The importance of education legal system is reflected in the following aspects:

1. standardize educational behavior: educational laws and regulations restrict and standardize educational activities, and ensure that educational institutions and employees abide by laws and regulations and do not violate laws and regulations.

2. Protection of educational rights and interests: Education laws and regulations protect citizens' right to education, and prohibit unreasonable admission threshold, compulsory consumption and other acts that infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of the masses.

Third, promote the development of education: education laws and regulations mobilize social resources, strengthen education planning and construction, and promote the sustained and healthy development of education.
