Responsibilities of Hebei Provincial Department of Education:

Responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education, promoting education equity, responsible for the macro guidance and coordination of compulsory education in the province, guiding ordinary high school education, preschool education and special education, formulating basic requirements and teaching documents for basic education, organizing the examination and approval of local curriculum materials for basic education, and fully implementing quality education.

Responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels, formulate the setting standards for secondary and below schools in conjunction with relevant departments, and guide the education and teaching reform of all kinds of schools at all levels.

The Education Department of Hebei Province is an integral part of the provincial government and is in charge of education in the whole province. Co-located with the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China College Working Committee. At present, there are 0/28 cadres and 23 offices.
