The policy of double burden reduction refers to reducing the daily homework and off-campus training burden of students in compulsory education.
1, control the total amount of homework, incorporate homework design into the teaching and research system, and encourage the arrangement of layered, flexible and personalized homework;
2. Improve the level of after-school service, provide "menu-style" after-school service items for students to choose voluntarily, and strengthen and optimize free online learning services;
3. Promote the mobility of cadres and teachers in the region. The first grade of primary school adheres to the "starting point" teaching, and the school may not organize any form of placement examination, and it is strictly forbidden to divide key classes and experimental classes.
The double-drop policy was formally implemented on September, 2002 1 year1day.
Reduce the homework burden of students in compulsory education. The double burden reduction of compulsory education is to reduce the workload of students, and the policy requires reducing the amount and duration of students' homework. It requires reasonable regulation and design of the structure of homework, so that children can finish their homework as much as possible at school, and they can't assign homework to their parents, nor can they correct their homework themselves.
Reduce the burden of off-campus training. Off-campus training is a difficult problem for many parents. One of the double reduction policies is aimed at extracurricular training institutions, requiring all institutions not to occupy legal holidays and rest days for subject training, and all subject education institutions are not allowed to go public.
