1, Hangzhou Dianzi University:

Hangzhou Dianzi University, referred to as "Hangdian", located in Hangzhou, is a teaching and research university jointly established by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Bureau, and one of the first five key universities in Zhejiang Province.

It is the only provincial university with a major in national defense, and it has been selected into the national "11plan", the Ministry of Education's "excellent engineer education and training plan", "national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan" and "national new engineering research and practice project".

2. Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Hydropower:

Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Hydropower, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is the only university jointly established by the Ministry of Water Resources and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and managed by the Zhejiang Provincial Water Resources Department and the Zhejiang Provincial Education Department.

Lakeside University is an organization founded by 9 entrepreneurs and famous scholars including Liu Chuanzhi, Ma Yun, Feng Lun, Guo Guangchang, Shi Yuzhu, Shen Guojun, Qian Yingyi, Cai Hongbin and Shao Xiaofeng. It is located near Yuhu Bay of West Lake in Hangzhou.
