Art class is an important course to cultivate students' noble sentiments, improve their aesthetics, strengthen their love for nature and life, and improve their comprehensive quality. The new curriculum standard of fine arts puts forward: "enrich students' vision and touch by studying fine arts;" "Develop students' spatial thinking and practical ability; Stimulate students' creative spirit and artistic practice ability, so as to express their emotions and thoughts with art, thus improving students' aesthetic ability and perfecting their personality. " At the same time, it also puts forward the content of "making students form basic artistic literacy" in the basic concept. So, what is the basic artistic accomplishment of students?
Artistic accomplishment is an important part of students' humanistic accomplishment. Artistic literacy refers to students' ability to understand and explore the concepts and processes of artistic science, which is necessary for them to engage in social life, economic production and personal decision-making in the future. They can better understand the relationship between art and society and the essence of art, thus forming a scientific attitude and correct values. Basic artistic accomplishment includes basic understanding of artistic content and phenomena; Have a basic understanding of artistic creation methods and processes; Have a basic understanding of the value and role of art in society. It not only refers to the mastery of basic artistic knowledge and skills, but also should have a basic artistic attitude, including keen visual awareness, and be able to respond positively to visual phenomena and works of art; Can consciously and boldly use art to express their thoughts and feelings and pursue artistic survival; Can constantly pursue higher aesthetic taste, maintain their own unique aesthetic taste, so that students can form a basic artistic accomplishment. The fundamental purpose of middle school art education is not simply to train artists, nor is it simply to train full-time art talents, but to cultivate students' aesthetic concepts and abilities, stimulate students' imagination and creativity, and cultivate students' sentiment in art teaching. Generally speaking, it is to cultivate students' artistic accomplishment in art teaching in middle schools. As a middle school art teacher, how can I cultivate middle school students' art literacy in specific teaching?
First of all, update the concept of art education from the height of quality education.
The so-called quality education refers to the basic education to improve the comprehensive ability of ideological and moral concepts, scientific culture, physical and mental health, labor and technical level, give full play to students' personality and make students develop in an all-round way. It is not difficult to see from the concept that quality education is an education that enables students to develop in an all-round way, rather than an education based on some old models that have stopped at present, in order to cope with the level of "unified examination", "senior high school entrance examination" and "examination-taking". Therefore, in the past, art, which was regarded as one of the "small three doors", naturally had pure space in the field of middle school learning. Due to the lack of art teachers, some schools offer few or no art classes, or hand them over to other classes because of the "teaching quality", which seriously affects the art literacy of middle school students. Therefore, middle schools should strengthen art classes in teaching. 1, according to the class objectives set by the Ministry of Education, taking the syllabus as the purpose, to ensure the art class hours. 2. Be equipped with an art teacher. For schools lacking teachers, artists from cultural centers and cultural majors can be hired, and art classes must not be offered under various excuses. 3. By holding art exhibitions, students' aesthetic interest, artistic accomplishment and love for art can be improved. At least one exhibition is held every semester, focusing on students' works, so that students can gain a sense of accomplishment. Teachers' works can be appropriately added to play a leading and exemplary role. 4. Hold special classes for art training, offering courses such as painting, sculpture and design respectively. In these trainings, some detailed contents can also be separated. Sculpture, for example, is mainly divided into two categories: round carving and relief. Another example is Chinese painting, which can be divided into freehand brushwork and meticulous brushwork in form, and flowers and birds, figures and landscapes in subject matter. However, it is impossible to ask students to learn everything well. Instead, students can choose a key point to study and master it after learning. This can broaden students' horizons, improve students' aesthetic taste, make students have a good impression on art classes, and then improve students' artistic accomplishment. 5. Organize students to visit various art exhibitions, so that students can get in touch with more and wider works of art and benefit from them, thus stimulating students' interest in art and improving their artistic accomplishment.
Second, pay attention to stimulate students' aesthetic feeling in specific teaching.
Creation must be based on rich imagination. In art teaching, we should pay attention to stimulate students' aesthetic feeling, let students have association and passion. Teachers should teach students how to observe, find out the characteristics of each art work, develop reasonable imagination, and let students have the desire and resonance for painting scenes in the works. In this way, let students start painting, and students' creativity and emotion will be revealed in the painting. For example, in the teaching of Beautiful Hometown, the flowers in my hometown are mainly introduced. I first ask students to observe all kinds of flowers before class and remember their names, colors and characteristics. Then in class, by watching the slides and videos of flowers, let the students associate and tell their feelings after observing flowers. Some students said, "I feel the flowers are very bright and beautiful." Some students said: "I feel a lot of flowers, different shapes and full of vitality." I don't even want to leave these flowers. "Some students said:" I feel that there are many flowers, which are very bright and the surrounding environment is beautiful. "I asked," what did you feel when you saw these flowers? "Some students said," I feel particularly comfortable. There are pure white flowers and bright red flowers, which are dazzling in beauty. I really can't get enough of it. " Some students said, "I feel very happy. Seeing so many beautiful flowers flourishing, I really want to take them home. " I said, "That won't do. Flowers bloom in nature, beautify the environment and cultivate sentiment. If we take them home, we won't appreciate their beauty. "If we paint it and stick it on the wall, won't it not only exercise our painting skills, but also protect nature?" Therefore, students are eager to try, have strong enthusiasm for painting, and actively train basic skills. The correct guidance of teachers is an effective way for students to resonate, and the correct guidance method can get twice the result with half the effort. Art teachers should seize all favorable opportunities to stimulate students' passion, stimulate students' aesthetic feeling, and make students associate and have passion.
Third, pay attention to tap students' potential and cultivate innovative consciousness.
In the process of art teaching, we should also teach students in accordance with their aptitude, not across the board. Students are required to use a model, leaving room for self-expression, allowing students to show colorful associations, cultivating students' innovative consciousness, tapping students' potential and guiding students to actively create. For example, when explaining handicraft classes and designing new year cards, we can combine knowledge and skills with students' creation. First, you can enjoy all kinds of purchased and self-made New Year cards with students, and explain the making materials, shapes, patterns, colors and symbolic meanings of all kinds of New Year cards, clearly tell students the development history of New Year cards and the significance of sending greeting cards, so that students can appreciate the preciousness of family and friendship from making greeting cards. This paper mainly introduces the method of making greeting cards, and explains it on the blackboard, to inspire students to have characteristics in the shape, pattern and color setting of greeting cards, and to encourage students to give their own greeting cards to relatives and friends. This further stimulated students' creative desire and cultivated students' patience, carefulness and love while making greeting cards. The students also demonstrated their abilities. Inspired by various samples, they made various greeting cards with different shapes, profound meanings and beautiful scenery in the process of mutual discussion and under the guidance of teachers. In the process of appreciating their works and being praised by teachers and classmates, they get spiritual satisfaction and enjoy the beauty.
Practice has proved that as long as students' thinking ability and imagination ability in images are enriched, their creativity can be obviously improved. It not only cultivates students' sentiment, improves students' artistic accomplishment, but also promotes the study of other subjects.
Fourth, pay attention to learning art theory knowledge.
Art education belongs to art education and is the main way for schools to educate students. The characteristic of art education is that it is necessary to learn professional theoretical knowledge and train professional skills, and the skills class requires students to train repeatedly. After many explorations and attempts, many teachers always take the painting level as the main basis when evaluating a student's artistic achievements, forming an educational thought of "emphasizing skills over theory". The long-term overflow of art teaching in middle schools is contrary to the current actual requirements, because the society needs art talents with comprehensive abilities such as art education, art skills, aesthetic ability, aesthetic education and innovative spirit, rather than painters who paint for the sake of painting. At the same time, art theory can also help middle school students to be widely used in the study of other disciplines, so as to gradually improve their personality, broaden their knowledge, and further improve their aesthetic ability and logical thinking ability. Therefore, middle school art teachers should also strengthen the education of art knowledge, art introduction, art history and other art appreciation methods, so that middle school students can reach a certain art theory, understand the development process and basic theory of art, and make their understanding of art move from perceptual to rational, which will play a vital role in improving middle school students' art literacy.
The above four aspects are some of my experiences in art teaching in middle schools. In the future, I will continue to study and explore hard to improve students' artistic accomplishment in an all-round way. Every link of art teaching should be saturated with the cultivation of aesthetic literacy, and students' good behavior literacy can be gradually formed. Really make students develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically.
The times are developing and the situation is changing, so the old teaching methods must be changed. The current curriculum reform of basic education provides a platform for every teacher to display his talents. We should seriously study the theory of curriculum reform, re-create it in combination with our own teaching practice, and apply the theory of curriculum reform to the subjects we teach, so as to make art teaching in middle schools glow with new vitality and cultivate qualified talents needed for socialist construction.
