You can infer world events without leaving the portal; You can know the natural laws of the movement of the sun, the moon and the stars without looking out of the window. The farther he runs, the less he knows. Therefore, a sage with "Tao" can infer things without traveling, understand "heaven" without peeping, and achieve something without acting rashly.

Laozi believes that everything in the world operates according to certain laws. To understand things, we must understand the essence of things, not just the surface of things. To truly understand the essence of things, in Laozi's view, only internal introspection and self-cultivation can we understand "heaven" and know the law of change and development of everything in the world.
