Steps for degree certification

1. Registration information

You need to register a new user online, fill in your personal information and submit a certification application form. For the official website, please click here to find the sign "If you are a new user, please click registered user" under the login box.

2. Payment of fees for submission of materials

Submit the application materials to the selected verification point as required and pay the certification fee.

3. Query the certification progress

Log in to the registered account in official website for academic certification to check the certification progress.

4. Obtain the certificate after the authentication is completed.

After the system displays "Authentication Complete", you can get the authentication result.

List of materials submitted for foreign degree certification

1. A two-inch (or two-inch) photo with a blue background certificate;

2. The original and photocopy of the degree certificate or higher education diploma in the foreign source language (the official language of the issuing country) to be certified. (that is, the original degree certificate issued to you by the school. )

Original and photocopy of complete official transcripts of courses requiring certified degree certificates or higher education diplomas; If a degree certificate is obtained through research, the original and photocopy of the official research letter issued by the school functional department (such as college, student registration department or student management department) shall be provided. The content of the research letter should explain the start and end date of the research (accurate to the month), the name of the major, the research direction, the degree awarded and other information.

It is necessary to provide the original and photocopy of the degree certificate and transcript, and hand them in together. After certification, the study abroad service center will return the original. It's best to prepare copies in advance, but there is a place to make copies, and you can also make copies in the small supermarket next to the study abroad service center, which is cheap and good.

Many schools will attach an official letter of confirmation after graduation. If you are not a research degree, you don't need to translate and submit your letter of confirmation, because it can also save some expenses.

The original Chinese translation of foreign degree certificates (higher education diplomas) and transcripts (research letters) that need to be certified (must be translated by a regular translation agency (company), and personal translation is invalid. If you submit the certification application materials to the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education, you can go to the translation company in the service hall on the 6th floor for translation. After the translation is completed, the translated documents will be directly transferred to the authentication procedure, and there is no need to wait for the translation results on the spot.

Everyone should pay attention to this. Translation is another big expense besides certification fee. There are many translation companies, but not every company can do it. Don't be greedy and cheap, it will affect the certification process, which will last for several months. Some friends have had this experience before.

To study in a foreign university and obtain a foreign academic degree certificate while studying in a domestic university, the applicant shall provide the original and photocopy of the domestic university graduation certificate or Xuexin.com registration certificate (/). Passports should be ready for authentication. It depends on the visa information inside, mainly on whether you stayed in that country during your school days. You can contact the local embassies and consulates in China and ask them to issue a certificate.
