Nanjing School for the Deaf is located on the picturesque Mingyu River, No.32 Yudao Street, National Garden Street. Formerly known as Nanjing School for the Blind and Deaf, founded in 1927, it is the first national special education school in China. Chen Jinyou, the current principal.
