Students in institutions of higher learning are college students, and graduate students and undergraduate and junior college (higher vocational) students who receive general higher education are all students in institutions of higher learning.

According to Article 7 of the Regulations on the Administration of Students in Colleges and Universities, students shall perform the following obligations in accordance with the law during their school days:

(3) Abide by academic ethics and complete the prescribed studies;
