How to implement heuristic teaching in middle school English teaching
I. Introduction

Heuristic teaching is a teaching method based on certain teaching objectives and teaching contents, starting from students' knowledge base and development potential, using various practical teaching methods to mobilize students' learning initiative, stimulate students' interest in learning, make students' intellectual factors and non-intellectual factors in the most exciting state, and urge students to actively acquire knowledge. Judging from the results of years of heuristic teaching, people from all walks of life are very reassured. Once a teacher has made a heuristic teaching plan in actual teaching, he should fully study the heuristic teaching methods suitable for his own teaching characteristics to guide daily teaching.

Second, the specific application of heuristic teaching in English classroom teaching

2. 1 direct focus heuristic teaching

As we all know, middle school English is the basic stage of English learning, and it is also an extremely important stage. English teachers in middle schools undertake the task of explaining the basic knowledge to students, helping them identify English vocabulary and establishing students' English thinking habits. For middle school English teachers, if they want to really make a difference and teach excellent students, they must take pains to think about the practical operation means of heuristic teaching. The author has done relevant experiments in class, and when explaining the difference between past participle and past tense, he wrote the following sentences on the blackboard: he go to Wuhan, he has wen to wuhan. The former is past tense, he has been to Wuhan, and the latter is past participle: he has been to Wuhan. Through translation, I pointed out the difference between past tense and past participle. Both of them emphasize that the different status of characters now determines the different grammatical structures of sentences. On this basis, I inspire students to pay attention to the corresponding meaning behind grammar, and then distinguish grammar effectively. Many students are in favor of this heuristic teaching mode [1].

2.2 heuristic teaching of students' classroom questioning

English learning is an interactive process between teachers and students, which is reflected in the process of teachers answering students' questions. Heuristic answers can often solve students' doubts, help them draw inferences from others and deal with various problems in English learning. Once in an English class, when I was answering students' questions, I tried to let students completely clear up the blind spots in this knowledge in some way. Students asked me how to understand long English sentences. At that time, he extracted a long English sentence from an English magazine, trying to confuse me. After carefully analyzing the sentence structure, I gave a detailed translation accurately. At the same time, I teach students to analyze all kinds of long sentences from the forms of subject, predicate, object, attribute, form and complement, so as to understand the internal structure of sentences, so that he can understand all long sentences within his vocabulary and grammar. Later, it was proved that my heuristic answering method was effective [2].

2.3 Heuristic classroom discussion teaching

As far as English teaching is concerned, students are always the main body of learning. Encourage students to talk to each other, talk loudly, actively carry out thinking activities and enhance their language expression ability. At the same time, they can also feed back teaching information in time. For example, in my "What Do We Eat" class, after the students understood the text, I asked "Why are there all kinds of junk food in our lives?" Then let the students speak and discuss for themselves. Students can answer my questions from both positive and negative angles. While listening to their answers, I will start to enrich students' thinking and encourage them to broaden their thinking from the reasons why junk food exists and why people choose independently. Above the classroom, I tried my best to create such an opportunity to inspire students to think and look at problems with broad ideas, and the students also completed their tasks well and handed in qualified transcripts. Classroom discussion is an indispensable part of English class. As middle school English teachers, we can't ignore its importance. The so-called accumulation is emphasized, and teachers should be brave enough to inspire students and improve their thinking ability in class discussion.
