China University of Mining and Technology is located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), a national "2 1 1 Project", a national "double-class" construction university, a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and state administration of work safety. Selected in "11plan" and "excellent engineer education and training plan".

As of May 2020, the school has two campuses, Wenchang Campus and Nanhu Campus, with more than 365,438+000 faculty members. There are 22 colleges in the school, including Xu Hai College and Yinchuan College. There are 63 undergraduate majors, 33 first-class master majors, 18 professional degree authorization points, 17 first-class doctoral programs, 16 postdoctoral research stations, and 1 one first-class national key discipline.
