How to effectively promote blended teaching reform
Blended teaching is not a new concept. However, with the deepening of educational informatization, especially the rise of large-scale open online courses, blended teaching has been endowed with richer connotations, which further promotes the teaching reform in colleges and universities. How to scientifically carry out blended teaching reform from the actual situation of colleges and universities has become a new topic of discussion and even a research direction.

First of all, schools should pay more attention to and support mixed teaching. Paying more attention to scientific research than teaching is a common problem in most universities in China, especially the ordinary provincial undergraduate universities that urgently need to improve their "university ranking". The emphasis and investment on teaching is far less than that of scientific research. On the other hand, limited by educational resources such as teachers' level, teaching funds and teaching equipment, many schools do not have enough strength to promote blended teaching, which seriously restricts the improvement of teaching level and teaching quality. Whether we can attach importance to and support blended teaching reform is also one of the important criteria to test whether university leaders can truly implement the status of undergraduate teaching center.

Second, schools should scientifically guide the reform of mixed teaching. The promotion of blended teaching reform should not be blind or across the board. Starting from the overall layout of school teaching development, we should scientifically guide colleges, majors and courses to choose appropriate teaching methods and teaching models from their own characteristics and needs. Not all courses have the necessity of mixed teaching, but the traditional teaching mode is more conducive to the transfer of knowledge; However, in some courses, mixed teaching can improve teaching activities and improve teaching quality. This requires the school level to assess the situation, make scientific analysis and guide the choice of teaching mode.

Thirdly, schools should flexibly change the teaching management mode and improve the enthusiasm and initiative of teachers to participate in mixed teaching. To encourage teachers to carry out blended teaching reform, it is necessary to provide convenience and welfare for teachers in many ways and encourage teachers to actively carry out blended teaching reform. At present, the policies of professional title evaluation, annual assessment, student evaluation and teaching research do not give more consideration to this problem, or in the original environment of "doing more and doing less, doing well and doing badly", improving teaching through mixed reform has become a "conscience work" for teachers. Many teachers would rather continue to study books and ppt than boldly carry out teaching reform, not to mention putting more energy into mixed teaching. This shows that there are still serious problems in the incentive mechanism of the school.

Students are the main body of teaching work, and teaching activities should be student-centered, so students naturally become the main participants in blended teaching. Let's talk about how to support students from all aspects, fully mobilize students to participate in blended teaching reform, and carry out the initiative and enthusiasm of blended learning.

First, improve student management. Blended teaching reform will shorten students' class time and increase students' extracurricular study time to a certain extent. This has a series of influences on student management, such as how to master students' work and rest in an all-round way, how to supervise students' academic level and so on. While strengthening students' daily management, we should give students more free space and time to arrange online learning time for students.

Second, deepen the reform of the credit system. At present, many colleges and universities are promoting the reform of complete credit system, and the corresponding system needs to be improved. Promoting blended teaching reform should be combined with credit system reform. Some teachers want mixed teaching, while others have no such plans. It is possible to provide students with sufficient teacher resources and curriculum resources, so that students can freely choose teachers and courses. Students can choose freely according to their own needs.

Third, improve the online teaching platform. At present, many large and small platforms have appeared at home and abroad, and many platforms have also opened the spoc platform for schools to use, which is convenient for schools to carry out mixed teaching. However, not all platforms can meet the needs of schools and students.

Fourth, optimize the teaching management system. As far as my school is concerned, although the teaching management system is updated every year, it is still relatively traditional in function and cannot fully meet the needs of students, especially in the case of extensive mixed teaching, for students to choose courses and inquire about information.

Fifth, strengthen the construction of hardware facilities such as networks. For most ordinary undergraduate colleges, the construction of network facilities is relatively backward, and it is impossible to achieve the whole school coverage of wifi. The problem that it is inconvenient for students to study online still exists. Schools should increase the construction of hardware facilities to provide support for students to go to school.
