The so-called school education system refers to the rules and regulations that stipulate the nature, tasks, training objectives, admission conditions, study years, management systems and mutual relations of schools at all levels.

The earliest modern learning system in old China was the Constitution of imperial academy, which was called "the academic system of work-study program" (1902). 1904 was promulgated by the government in the early Qing dynasty, but the academic system failed to be implemented.

As far as the system of educational institutions and organizations is concerned, the educational system includes not only various teaching institutions and organizations, but also various management institutions and organizations.

Educational teaching institutions and organizations include not only school education institutions and organizations, but also preschool education institutions and organizations, off-campus children education institutions and organizations, adult education institutions and organizations and so on. Therefore, the education system is a system composed of these educational institutions and organizations.
